I am not a very technology savvy person, but I am open and willing to learn. I know that technology has started moving into the classroom more and more and it will be my job as a teacher to know how to use it in order to benefit students’ classroom learning. I also want to make sure I will not be over-using technology; I believe there is a fine line between technology being a useful classroom tool and as a distraction. I am very interested in how technology is being used in classrooms to help students with learning disabilities compared to when I was in elementary school. During my time in elementary school, technologies other than basic computers were slowly being added in school. My first step in this inquiry is to find other students in the class who are interested in this topic and come up with a main question to start researching in regard to how technology is being used to help students with learning disabilities.
