In class this week I learned about different social media platforms and organizational websites that you can use as a teacher. One of the popular social media platforms being used by educators is Twitter. At this point in time, I personally do not want to use Twitter, but in the future I may use it. This is because I do not want to take on another social media account. However, Twitter is a user friendly way to stay informed and connected with other educators and projects happening in schools, which could be useful when I am a teacher. An organizational website that I could use is Trello, which is something that we just began using this class. Although I have only been using Trello for a short period of time, I like how the website is set up and has a user friendly organization system for your tasks. I also like how the user is able to move tasks through a series of categories, such as “doing” and “done,” to help keep track of what needs to be worked on. Because of this, Trello is something I will be using for my free inquiry and tech inquiry project, and other projects in the future.
