I have started embroidering my backpack for my final project. So far it has been going well, but I have run into a couple set backs. The first set back was that I was originally going to embroider underneath the circle patch on the bag, but because the bag is smaller than I thought initially, the embroidery would not fit. To solve this, I decided to embroider the design on the pocket of the backpack. I actually really enjoy how the embroidery looks on the pocket and think that it has turned out to be a good decision. My second set back was how thick the fabric is to embroider through. Because of this, it has taken a lot more time than expected to embroider my backpack. I have spent about two hours embroidering my bag and I have only gotten the stems of the flowers done. I am going to have to plan out a lot of time to finish the flowers. Despite this, I am very happy how the stems have turned out and I am excited to see the finished product.
